Recently, our company has completed a batch of ultra pure ferritic stainless steel, US brand number S44735 seamless steel pipes, with dimensions of 15.88 × 1.24 × 9500mm, which are used in the concentrated sulfuric acid heat exchange equipment of a large mining company abroad.

After nearly 10 years of exploration and development, our company has finally mastered the production process of ultra pure ferritic stainless steel seamless steel pipes such as S44660, S44735, S44700, etc. Due to the lack of a complete production process that can be referenced both domestically and internationally, our company had to develop step by step from component design, smelting process, round steel rolling, perforation, cold rolling and cold drawing, heat treatment, acid washing, testing and other processes.

In the past 10 years of development, our company has invested a lot of manpower, material resources, and financial resources. With great patience and dedicated research, we have finally successfully developed seamless steel pipes made of S44735 material.

At present, our company is a domestic factory that has successfully developed and can mass produce seamless steel pipes of this grade. It is possible that foreign factories may only be able to produce welded pipes of this grade. For ultra pure ferritic stainless steel pipes, due to the incomplete understanding of their excellent performance from design units, research institutions, steel mills, equipment factories, and users, the market usage is still limited to small batches in similar development stages. I believe that with the maturity of production technology and the familiarity of users with performance, this grade of seamless steel pipe will have great development prospects in the future.
